How to Join
2nd Inverness (Kingsmills) Scout Group is located in the centre of Inverness City, and is open to both boys and girls aged 6-14, with a joint unit with the local Crown Group for Explorers (14-18).
All three sections (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) have an active weekly programme for youth members, with the Cub Pack having an annual Pack Holiday, and the Scout Troop camping several times during the year (2 weekends, and a week in summer, as well as other national events).
The Scout Troop and Explorer Unit also attend international camps every 3-4 years, with the next being planned for 2008/2009.
Adults are also welcome to get involved in the Scout Group. Whether you want to be a leader, section assistant, an administrator, skills instructor, we have a role that can suit you. You too can experience the laughter and friendship of being an adult in Scouting.
At present there are no places available in the Beaver Colony or Cub Pack, but children are welcome to join the waiting list.
